Luxury holiday cottages - Dairy Cottage

One of just three luxury holiday cottages at White Lodge Farm, Dairy Cottage has been given the coveted VisitBritain five star rating in recognition of the quality of the accommodation and the welcome afforded to guests in this luxury self catering cottage.

Converted, as the name suggests, from the former dairy, Dairy Cottage offers luxury holiday accommodation on a single floor (with no internal changes of level) for a party of up to six guests plus infants.

Like our other luxury holiday cottages,Stable Cottage (also sleeping six guests) and the Barn (sleeping 12 guests), Dairy Cottage has been designed for use specifically as a holiday cottage and with the more discerning guest in mind.

Although the spaciousness and exceptional quality of the accommodation in this holiday cottage is difficult to convey photographically, we hope that the detailed descriptions and the pictures which follow will give you at least some idea of why we say that this holiday cottage was designed with the more discerning self catering guest in mind (the images can also be accessed from the thumbnails' page).

Holiday accommodation

The holiday accommodation in Dairy Cottage comprises:

• Farmhouse kitchen with dining area (5.7m x 5.0m)
• Sitting room: (5.0m x 5.0m)
• Garden room: (3.9m x 3.7m)
• Bedroom 1: A double room (5.4m x 4.3m) with en suite bathroom (1.6m x 1.4m)
• Bedroom 2: A double room (4.5m x 3.9m) with en suite shower room (2.5m x 1.2m in total)
• Bedroom 3: A twin or double room (4.2m x 3.5m) with direct access to family bathroom.
• Family bathroom: (2.4m x 1.9m), accessible from Bedroom 3 and the hall.

Bedrooms 1 and 2 each have ample room for a cot which can be supplied without charge, subject to availability (guests are asked to bring their own bedding and mattress in line with current guidance).

The holiday cottage has its own fenced garden including a decked area which has garden furniture in the summer.
