Do you allow children in your cottages?
Yes, children are welcome at White Lodge Farm Cottages and there are a number of provisions
to assist guests with children. For example:
- Fireguards are available for use with the log burner
in each of the cottages (although as the cottages have underfloor heating
you could choose not to use the log burner if you had any safety concerns)
- Those cottages with stairs (the Barn and Stable Cottage)
have a stair gate
- Cots and high chairs are available for no additional charge, although as their
numbers are limited this is subject to availability and pre-booking (for hygeine and
safety reasons mattresses and bedding are not provided for cots)
- We have indicated in the details of the cottages those rooms best-suited to
accommodating a cot, although a travel cot can be fitted in other bedrooms
- You'll not find any white carpets or valuable antiques at White Lodge Farm Cottages
- Each cottage has its own fenced garden.
More information about staying at
White Lodge Farm Cottages with infants and children can be found elsewhere on the website.
Of course, it is the responsibility of the party organiser to ensure that the
children in their party do not prevent other guests from enjoying
their stay.
Four-legged permanent guests at White Lodge Farm usually include dogs and horses.
Guests are asked to respect the fact that where
the horses and dogs live is their home and also asked to ensure that
children are aware of this and respect it too.
Like most farms, White Lodge Farm has a pond. However, this is some
distance from the holiday cottages.
